SportsFaction is many things to many people. Or, perhaps more accurately, it’s a hastily-cobbled sports news aggregation site that’s in auto-pilot for most of the year. Then when the NFL season rolls around, there’s a live podcast where Vinny O’Reilly and I, Doug Aamoth, make picks for the upcoming week’s games.

Do Vinny and I have years and years of experience in the sports news industry? No. But that never really stopped anybody else. Plus, I work in tech news. And here’s something most news people won’t tell you: tech news is basically the same thing as sports news except everyone I interview is pretty out of shape.

Come to think of it, all news is pretty much the same. You just swap nouns depending on the subject. And remember that this site aggregates actual sports news from other places, so you won’t run the risk of reading the ramblings of a gadget blogger. Aside from this page, of course.
